In Character: Carnegie Mellon Actors Acting was an independent study in photography that I did with my professor, Jamie Gruszka, based on the work of Howard Schatz. Each actor sat in a studio with me, a 35mm Pentax film camera, and a book of prompts. I would read them a prompt and then take a portrait photo of their instantaneous interpretation.
